Book Review: The Dragonet Prophecy (Wings of Fire #1)
By: Evelyn Mann
This is part one in a multi-part series I will be making during this period of time. There are 16 Wings of Fire books. I have read every single one, and after finishing the series I have come to the conclusion that I am disappointed I did not read it sooner. It is an amazing book series with a wonderful author in charge. I’m a big fan of the series and have a lot of the books, including special editions.
Book one is one of my favorites. It follows a dragonet named Clay. He is part of a prophecy to stop a war. He doesn’t know how, but after he and his friends escape from their abusive captors who were raising them for the prophecy, they get captured yet again and are forced to fight. Clay meets a girl named Peril who has a crush on him. She has firescales and cannot touch anyone except Clay, who has fireproof scales. They escape, and in order not to spoil the first book I will just say there is a reunion at the end of the family kind.
I would give this book 5/5 stars. It is one of my favorite books in the series and I’m excited for more.
